This article is a fairy tale about overambitious mothers and sick toddlers.
Once upon a time there as a gloriously over ambitious mother who lived in the Forest Kingdom.
She was the most ambitious of all the Fairy Mothers.
She had woken up especially early today, to seize the day. This was her day….The day that she was going to get everything done. She had her sparkly pen, magical paper, and enchanted checklist ready.
Nobody, not ogre or giant was going to stop her getting everything done.
So far everything had been going smoothly….She was up before her toddler, she showered in good time and she had even managed to consume her gemstone breakfast ahead of schedule. She even packed everything ready for her daughter to go to Forest Kingdom Nursery.
But this overly ambitious mother forgot one thing….The mighty power of a Fairy Toddler.
And then she heard it…
That little Fairy Todder voice calling her from the High Tower…
But today it sounded slightly different….
Her senses told her that something was wrong…
She climbed the High Tower and went into her daughter’s room, went to pick her up and then ……Oh no.
Her Fairy Toddler felt very hot.
She turned on the fairy lights to find that her Fairy Toddler was also covered in lots of sparkly spots. She had Dragon Pox.
It was at this point she knew that her enchanted checklist was not going to get completed today, tomorrow or even the day after. She had forgotten that one of the strongest forces in the Forest Kingdom was a sick Fairy Toddler. She spent the rest of the day on hold to the Forest Kingdom’s Doctor’s surgery, refilling syringes with magical glitter medicine whilst having a Fairy Toddler clinging to her.
She spent that night sleeping on the High Tower floor.
She woke up many times that night.
But, eventually her Fairy Toddler got better and they all lived happily ever after (but this ambitious mother never did quite complete her enchanted checklist).
