Everyone is welcome here at Mamo & Mono, but there is a special place in our hearts for working mothers.
We know that ALL MOTHERS are working mothers, and the job is thankless.
Mothers who work outside of the home have different day to day challenges that they have to navigate. Managing work and home life, whether you work part time, full time or work from home, can be one of the hardest things that you do.
You develop skills that most people would be envious of.
Your ability to meet a deadline, but also to remember that it is the cake sale on Friday are simply unmatched. But of course, functioning at this high level takes a toll on your mentally and physically as time passes. And despite your many talents, the sad thing is that this will mostly go unnoticed, because this is what you signed up for as a mother.
At times you can feel invisible as a mother.
Mothers can also get stuck in a vicious cycle where they do more and more, they do it well, and then they are expected to do even more.
In the end these mothers burn themselves into the ground from sheer exhaustion. They are constantly running around thinking about everyone else but themselves. In the end, they feel like the life has been sucked from them.
They no longer even recognise themselves.
But here, at Mamo & Mono, we want to say that you aren’t invisible here.
You are our very own main character.
Your efforts are more than enough here.
You don’t need to think about anyone else whilst you are here.
Here is the place where we will lift you up and not run you down.
Regardless of how others see you, here on this website, you are our favourite and will remain that way.
You are beautiful, creative, organised, caring and wonderful in every way. You are raising wonderful children.
You are everything.
You’re our favourite.
