This week we want to encourage all the hardworking mothers out there to get some rest.

We know that the demands of work and motherhood make it difficult to get any type of rest, however, if you have an opportunity to have a break then take it.

Below we have listed a few ways to possibly steal back a little bit of rest:

  • Go to bed a little earlier
  • Take 5 minutes longer in the bath
  • Stop scrolling on social media and read a book instead
  • Write down your thoughts and feelings in a journal
  • Meditate
  • Go for a short walk and get some fresh air
  • Be still whenever you get the chance.

The above list might seem minimal and even insignificant, however, if you are able to complete these over weeks, months or even years, then you might start feeling a little better.
